What goes around comes around, and it’s a 90s fashion party (again)
No, you aren’t in the twilight zone ladies, fashion has always come full circle, and yes those glory days of 90’s fashion is totally back. So, if you were here for the best of it, Welcome Back. If you weren’t (all you GenZ-ers), then welcome to all these great 90’s tends coming back!
I was a little girl living my best life in the 90’s watching my older sister dress all the latest and greatest fashion trends and wanted every single piece of it. So, I drug my mom to ‘The Limited, too” (anyone else remember that store?) to attempt to jump on board, too. I had all the acid wash, front pleat plants and shorts I could get, plus all those little lettuce edged tops, and cardigans (so cute!). I reveled over how awesome my mom and sister looked in their silky tops with those great shoulder pads, too! I mean we all had all that velvet, which is coming back oh so strong, y’all.
The transition into Fall 2021 is continuing to feature all the throwback styles of the 90’s, and your Lula and Mae gals are all 1000% here for every single piece! We have already mixed in a few pieces, like some sweet shoulder padded tops (found here), crop sweatshirts (like these), cute new denim, and adorable little cardis like this one. All these awesome 90s trendy pieces are also great fall transition pieces, too, so double score! My favorite 90s style inspo definitely features my new favorite denim, these new Blue Revival Brand jeans cover all the 90’s bases, the slim high waist, boyfriend loose fit through the leg, lighter acid wash, and even those front pleats. Eek! Just glorious.
If you can’t tell, we’re beyond excited for this 90s fashion party and its triumphant return and we wish we actually saved all that clothes our husbands made us purge, (bummer) but what better reason to shop and find great new favorites?
